Smirkn was started in 2012 as fun, cost-effective way to liven up your event and preserve the memories for all of your guests. We take pride in our service; you deserve the very best and that’s exactly what you'll get. Our booths use professional grade cameras and our on-site attendant will ensure your special event is remembered for a lifetime.


We do all types of events but here are some examples of what we’ve done in the past: Weddings, corporate events, birthdays (for kids and adults), Quinceaneras, Fundraisers, Grand Openings, Fall Carnivals, Church Functions, School functions, Prom, Dances, Sorority parties.

  • How does the booth work? Simple. Our booths are touch screen. Your guests simply touch the color or black & white button and pose. The monitor will countdown while allowing a real-time view as pictures are taken instantly. Lab-quality photo’s print on the spot.

  • Are the prints good quality? Yes! Our booth combines a professional-grade camera with a lab quality photo printer that generate prints within seconds, but memories to last generations.

  • When will I get my photos? Your photo’s print on the spot and will be ready in about 15 seconds.

  • Is there a limit to how many photos we can take? No. You and your guest can take unlimited photos for the entire duration of your event. 

  • Will someone from Smirkn be at my event? Yes. We provide a professional attendant who will create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests from start to finish. Our attendants are also trained to operate and ensure that you get the best use of your photo booth.

  • What is Idle time? This is time that you may need for the booth to be set up before it is in use. It allows for the booth to still be in place but not operating. Example… the booth is temporarily closed during dinner and will reopen when the idle time is complete. 

  • Why is Smirkn different? We don’t look like your average photo booth because we’re not. Our open concept design is sleek and modern. Perfect for the minimalist. We also offer digital only options, videos and GIFS.
    We are constantly complimented on the quality of the photos, design of the booths and the professionalism of the attendant

  • How much space do you need? Approximately a 10 x 10 space. The backdrops are 8x8 feet and we typically set up about 6 feet away from it. Please allow extra room for the attendant and necessary extra items (props, scrapbook station, etc).  We can work in a smaller area if needed- Just let us know. 

  • How many people will fit in the photos? As many as you can squeeze into the frame. But we've fit as many as 20 in the photos.

  • Do you offer digital images also? All your event photos will be uploaded to an online photo gallery to be viewed by your guests. The can be public or password protected. This includes both the photo strip files and the original photos that make up each print. They are free to download after your event. A USB is available for purchase.

  • If my event goes on longer than planned can you add time at the last minute? Additional hours may be requested as long as it does not interfere with other scheduled events and price may be greater than when purchased in advance. It is best to plan ahead.

  • Can you add a logo or design to the photos? Yes- Check out the customization tab for a wide selection of designs: 

  • How do I reserve a booth? We require a $300 non-refundable retainer and a completed contract. This will be applied to your balance. Your balance is due 1 week prior to your event. If your balance is not paid you will no longer have a valid reservation. There will be a $20 late fee per day for reinstatement if date is still available. We make every attempt to make sure you are aware.

  • Can changes be made to a reservation? Yes, changes can be made up to 60 days prior to your event date as long as our schedule allows for it. There are no changes or cancellations after that time and full payment will be due 1 week prior to your event.

Smirkn did a wonderful job at our annual 5K fun run! The participants loved it and it added a level of excitement. Both the owner and the person working the booth were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company to any who is looking to have a photobooth at any event!
